While in Utah...

Avery had pet day at school. Her and Velzy got baby betta fish. So we brought squishy to school. She stood up in front of the class and told them all about her.
That same day they had a "Readers Theater" play. Avery was supposed to be one of the narrators but one of the actors was a no show. So she filled in and did a part she never practiced for. She had memorized some of the lines but otherwise she held the script and you would have never know she didn't practice. I was so impressed.
 Hogle Zoo
One day we ditched school and met up with some old Colorado friends of ours at Hogle Zoo. Kelly and Paul or Colorado friends moved to Utah over a year ago. So we've got friends here already!!
We had a great time! Halle and Klarrisa were so cute together!
Seeing the bald eagles was awesome!
Velzy our cute little eagle but she's far from bald.
Colin latched on to Kelly. He loved watching the otters. I think he could have stayed there all day.
He even found some boys to play with.
Kelly took us on the carousel. The kids loved it. Of coarse.
Our group! I look like amazon woman!
 Little tiger!
Avery wanted this cute photo op.
Halle helping out Colin. She is such a good big sister. She sure loves Colin.
The girls taking a break under a tree. It was warming up. Yeah!!!
The tiger. One of my favorites. He had been laying around most of the day. Then we passed by one more time and he was getting in the water.
People started gathering around and he came up to the window.
Then all of the sudden he lunged right at the window. Everyone looks calm but most people screamed and jumped back.
 The baby giraffe.
Not sure if my kids enjoyed hanging over the gate and freaking me out or being as tall as the giraffe more...
 Watching the seals doing tricks.
 Flamingo boy
Stoppoing to get one last look at the elephants and their baby.
Nice hats ladies. Go pull some weeds.
It's a great zoo. It's not to big and not full of tons of bird sanctuaries. All the big animals right up front and no messing around with 100's of lizards and snakes. My kinda zoo!

Avery has this App...and more cute faces!
She sent this picture to Papa Carl.
I love this picture. Even though it paints me as a bad mom. Halle looks so cute. So focused. She's new at playing outside. She has tons on bruises, cuts, scrapes, road rash, sun burn, and even bug bites. But she hardly complains. They other day she came in and she had stubbed her toe so bad it was beading. She just wanted me to clean it up so she could go back out and play. (I do however tell her to wear shoes and clothes.)
Another photo request. Mom look at me take my picture.
Aunt Chris made this cute dress for Halle. She was happy to model it for me.
Cute boy. We don't do this to his hair. You can tell when it has food in it.
 Or Avery does it.
All of my kids have a new out door freedom. (Well Colin spent most of his time in the backyard in CA but that was alone.) They are outside all the time playing and riding anything with wheels.
They play from sun up to sun down. We all love that!
Here's Velzy trying to fly her kite.
 Colin sure loved that!
Here's some of the neighborhood crew.
This is the view up our street. Those are the ski runs for Deer Valley Resort.
 Colin just hangin.
My new AWESOME friend Kassie. Feels like I've known her forever! She is so much fun. But I bet you can tell from the picture.
Velzy baking some healthy banana chocolate chip cookies.
Avery helping out. They are getting so big, grown up, and helpful.
Colin having a car wash in our driveway.
That was how I tried to keep him in the drive way and not running up the street with the kids.
Oh then he put on Halle's dress up shoes.
I told him to say cheese. He was happy to!
Avery trying to walk the neighbors dog.
All the kids joining in the car wash. (Noticed Halle in her tutu. She's turned in to an outside girl but she still needs a costume change once in a while.)
We drive around a lot! Everything is far from us. This was a picture for Nathan. He was in ID and we were saying hi!
This must have been for Nathan too! Cute Velz.

Uncle Aaron's Birthday
We were having Uncle Aaron over for his birthday and he requested banana splits. Halle had never had one so she was so excited. She talked about it for days. Then she found this picture and colored in on my phone and asked me to send to Uncle Aaron.
Velzy and Uncle Aaron with their banana splits.
 Yummy!
Halle eating her first banana split she was so proud of herself.
Uncle Aaron let Halle blow out his candle.

Just Chillin'
 Summer time movie!
