While living in Heber at the condo we made some great friends!
In July the lake near our house had a celebration called Fire on the water. It was food and fun and yes...fireworks over the lake. Well as you can see their were threatening clouds in the ski but we still went for it. On our morning run Kassie and I ran by the park and they said it would be so busy hardly any parking. So early that morning we parked our cars there and then we walked in. To beat the rush!
There was NO rush. Hardly anyone there. We only saw like two cars pass us on our over a mile walk. We even got rained on. But we laughed and made some great memories!

A bus came a picked us up at the park entrance. I think loading our stuff on the bus was more work than if we had walked in. But the kids loved it.
So we decided to head home. When we got home the skies cleared up and we watched the fireworks from our house.
The simple things in life make these little ones happy!
